Baynanza 2015
Thanks so much to all who registered for the Miami-Dade Baynanza Bay Cleanup Day Event at Oleta! www.miamidade.gov/environment/baynanza.asp
We cannot wait to have Oleta's coasts and coastal waters cleaned up and hope the event will be a launch off point for increased community awareness on the need to limit the use of disposal items (for example, please CHOOSE a reusable water bottle or cup instead of throw away bottles AND/OR reusable shopping bags, or even paper, over plastic bags).
Reduction in trash is critical and cleaning up any litter is equally important. We hope that the sight of clean shores, Park spaces, and waters will motivate all to clean up any waste they might bring to the Park - to avoid any harmful litter at Oleta River State Park. Please help us keep our favorite park clean!!
